Best Seat in the House

Painted with Acrylics on a 16 by 20 inch (40.6 by 50.8 cm) canvas.

Photo taken indoors with a flash.

Scene was based on a combination of El Paso, TX and Aspen, CO. ...and Wii's We Ski 2 :)

The yellow & the blue on the horizon line are just wonderful. Love all the little detail you incorporated into this piece.

Yes, I just noticed the footprints. Incredible. I am sure there are lots of other little detail I have missed. The 1st thing that caught my eye was of course the colors of the horizon & 2nd the snow detail on the pines & 2rd the city light below (wow those are breathtaking). I know, I know it's a painting of a Delorean, but all the details make it come alive.

I have been trying to push my paintings outside of my comfort zone. There are lots of great landscape paintings out there, but I want to push it a step further and make my paintings not just a typical landscape painting.

I want my paintings to be interesting and tell a story. I hope I have been able to do that.
