My father-in-law took me sailing on Clear Lake (Near NASA). When I sail with him, I am usually the crew, but being weakened from the chemo, I had to just be a passenger this time. It did give me a chance to play photographer.

I took a bunch of pictures, but I am only going to post the ones I feel are the best. I don’t want to overload my watchers with a bunch of pictures. I just want to show you the best. Note: I did not crop any of these pictures.

I also worked on my latest painting.


I also painted the Den and finally got that room done

I went out and bought a large canvas. It is like 24 by 30 inches. This is the biggest canvas I have gotten. All of my other canvases have been 16 by 24. My wife wants me to paint her something to hang over the fireplace. No DeLorean in it.

I am also thinking about future projects. I really want to paint a life-sized painting of the DeLorean. Doing the front and back wouldn’t be too bad, as far as canvas size, but doing a life-size painting of the side of the car would take a huge canvas. I could break it up into 3 canvases.

I’ll probably do another DeLorean series. I also want to do a painting for each of the seasons. I have the Fall one done with my Harvest Moon painting. I would like to do a series centered around snow skiing. And I would like to do another series centered around weather related scenes.
